Rose Society Launches In New York

Best Buddies New York welcomes the newest members of the Best Buddies Rose Society:

Best Buddies New York is proud to announce five new members of the Rose Society, the BBI major giving program launched in 2009. The program was officially launched in New York on December 15, 2009 with a cocktail reception at the exquisite New York City home of Marilyn and Ronald Rotter, longtime supporters of Best Buddies.
The reception, which hosted more than twenty-five friends of the organization and the Rotters provided an opportunity for guests to learn about future plans for BBNY; meet Brooke and Barbara, a fantastic New York City buddy pair, Gerry Klingman, a longtime BBI Board member, Tammy Severino, the new BBNY State Director; network among old and new friends and honor the Rotters, who received an award for their dedication and leadership to BBNY. More than $19,000 was raised at the event with gifts still coming in honor of the Rotters.
In the Yellow Rose category, BBNY is proud to announce that Marilyn and Ronald Rotter have joined. In the Red Rose category, Maria and Ben Bergman, Dr. Gerald Betzen, Alina Plaia/WideBridge Capital, Inc. and Andrew and Harriet Singer have all made commitments to Best Buddies New York. Participation in the Rose Society includes an annual financial commitment beginning at $1,000. Funds raised via the Rose Society directly benefit programs and services in the state.
